The LIBSENSE Regional Open Science Policy Development Workshop
IUCEA in collaboration with UbuntuNet Alliance and UNESCO under the AfricaConnect3 Project is organising the LIBSENSE Open Science Policy Development workshop for South and East Africa, to be held virtually on 8th November 2021.
This policy Development Workshop is the first in a series of regional workshops organised by LIBSENSE. The workshop will feature case studies of open science and open access policy development initiatives across Africa to stimulate discussion about what works and does not in such policy development and implementation initiatives. This workshop is targeting the directors at Ministries, council and commission for Universities, Deputy Vice-Chancellors in charge of research, heads of libraries, and deans in charge of early career researcher development (e.g. postgraduate researchers, PhDs, postdoctoral fellows, new lecturing staff).
