Patrick Aviku

Records Management Assistant

Patrick Aviku serves as the Records Management at Assistant at Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA). He is an Information Management Professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies from Uganda Christian University, Mukono. He started as a Records Officer at the Ministry of Public Service, Uganda in 2012 before joining the Ministry of East African Community Affairs in 2014 on a cross transfer. As a qualified Information Professional, Mr. Aviku is a member of Uganda Library and Information Association (ULIA). While at IUCEA, he serves as a member of the East African Community Technical Working Group on Information Resource Centers (TWGIRC). Away from his professional life, Mr. Aviku serves as a Children’s Minister at St. Francis Chapel Makerere.
