Clarification and Update on EAC-SMS Scholarship 2023

The management of the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), takes this opportunity to update all our esteemed stakeholders and applicants who have shown interest in the East African Community Student Mobility Scholarship (EAC-SMS) published on the 18th of September 2023 on the IUCEA Website. The call for applications was meant for both undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for the October intake of 2023.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there has been a delay in concluding the process of selection and shortlisting. Despite the challenge, IUCEA remains committed to providing opportunities for scholarship to all interested stakeholders in the East African Community.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delays in concluding the process and IUCEA will work diligently to get things back on track as soon as possible.

The management of IUCEA is working with the host universities diligently to resolve the issues that caused delays. IUCEA is committed to providing feedback about the EAC-SMS scholarship soon.

IUCEA shall keep you updated on any developments and provide further information as soon as it becomes available.
