Regional Centre of Excellence in Embedded and Mobile Systems Hosted by Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) The Centre of Excellence will addresses three fields of intervention: a) Establishment of a need-driven postgraduate Master’s programmes in Embedded and Mobile Systems in East Africa, which is offered as part of the East African-German university partnership (East African Centre of Excellence for ICT); b) Gearing the courses and services of the universities towards the needs of the private and public sector in East Africa c) Regional networking.
The MSc in Embedded and Mobiles has been accredited by TCU, and The CENIT@EA has so far awarded 88 Scholarships of which 25 are in the year 2019/2020, 33 in the year 2020/2021 and 30 in the year 2021/2022 undertake MSc in Embedded and Mobiles; 37% are Female for three intakes, the table below summarized the scholars per Partners States, intake.
