Call for applications | Postdoctoral fellowship

For the 2nd year running, the IRD and the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) are funding a postdoctoral mobility programme that we invite you to publicise in your communication tools.

 

IRD/ Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) – ATLAS Programme, call for applications – incoming and outgoing mobility for postdoctoral research stays.
As part of the Atlas Programme, the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme and its partners offer mobility grants for postdoctoral research in the humanities and social sciences for a period of 2 to 3 months. In 2024, the FMSH and the IRD are jointly funding mobility grants for “Southern” countries > France and France > “Southern” countries.
Interdisciplinary projects are welcome.
Calls are open until 18 March 2024, 5pm (Paris time).
– Mobility support for a stay in France of 2 to 3 months for postdoctoral researchers from the “Suds” (countries located in the intertropical and Mediterranean zone and with low and middle incomes), who have defended their thesis from 2018.
This mobility support is intended to enable them to carry out research in France: fieldwork, work in libraries and archives.
– Mobility support of 2 to 3 months for postdoctoral researchers residing in France who have defended their thesis from 2018, for a stay in connection with the IRD’s structuring schemes: mixed international laboratories (LMI) and young teams associated with the IRD (JEAI).
